Cecilia Michalowicz resides in Chicago, Illinois where she creates her fused glass pieces in her in-home studio.  This self-taught artist has a business degree but her creative restlessness prompted her to pursue a career in art.  Using ceramics as a stepping stone  in 2002 she created her business known as “Gift Gallery Inc”.

In search for the perfect medium to express her artistic vision, she expanded herself as an artist using glass.  She loves to explore glass fusing through experimentation. This allows her the freedom to part from the norm and define her own style.
